Welcome to Voice of Reason LLC ("VoR," "we," "our," or "us"). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website (vors.ai), web application(s), APIs, data services, and any related services or content provided by VoR (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you ("you," "user," or "client") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Services.
1. Overview of Services
VoR provides AI-driven tools to assist agencies, organizations, and individuals in analyzing law enforcement interactions through automated legal cross-referencing, compliance scoring, risk analysis, and real-time performance feedback ("VoR Platform"). The Services are intended for informational, analytical, and internal advisory purposes only.
VoR does not provide legal advice, guarantee legal outcomes, or replace official investigative or judicial processes. Users are responsible for their own interpretation and application of VoR outputs.
2. Eligibility
To use VoR's Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Have full legal authority to enter into these Terms
- Use the Services only in accordance with applicable local, state, federal, and international laws
- Not be a competitor or acting on behalf of a competitor to access the Services for competitive purposes
3. License and Acceptable Use
VoR grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Services for internal business, research, educational, or operational purposes subject to these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, extract, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Services or any underlying algorithms, models, or systems
- Use the Services to develop competing products
- Sell, sublicense, distribute, or publicly display any portion of the Services without our prior written consent
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that violates rights of third parties
- Misrepresent VoR outputs as legally binding decisions or legal advice
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, data, or networks
Violation of these provisions may result in immediate termination of your account and legal action.
4. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to VoR's platform, software, data models, algorithms, trademarks, content, user interface designs, and other proprietary materials ("VoR IP") are owned exclusively by Voice of Reason LLC or its licensors.
You agree that:
- VoR IP is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws
- You obtain no ownership or rights to VoR IP beyond the limited license granted herein
- Any feedback or suggestions you provide become our property without compensation
5. Data Usage and Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal and organizational data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your information in accordance with that policy.
VoR may collect:
- Submitted reports, queries, and interactions with the Platform
- System usage metrics for analytics and improvement
- Limited metadata to improve model accuracy and compliance auditing
We will not sell your personal data to third parties without your explicit consent.
Note: Law enforcement or regulatory bodies may lawfully request user data, and we may comply where required by law.
6. Accuracy and Disclaimers
The Services provide analytical outputs, risk indicators, and legal compliance scores generated through algorithmic processes and publicly available legal information.
We strive to maintain accuracy, but we do not warrant or guarantee:
- The legal completeness, correctness, or real-time applicability of our outputs
- That the Services are free from errors, omissions, or technical inaccuracies
- That using VoR will result in reduced liability, improved policing outcomes, or legal compliance
Outputs are non-binding and are advisory only. Final decisions must be made by human judgment, legal counsel, or appropriate authorities.
Use VoR at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
VOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.
TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (I) $500 OR (II) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VOR IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES EVEN IF VOR KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VoR, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or relating to:
- Your use or misuse of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable law or third-party rights
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Services (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of updated Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that, in our sole judgment, harms VoR, users, partners, or the public.
Upon termination:
- All rights granted to you immediately cease
- You must delete or destroy any confidential or proprietary materials related to VoR
- Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 shall survive termination
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved:
- First, through informal negotiation
- If unresolved, through binding arbitration conducted in Travis County, Texas under AAA Rules
- Each party bears its own costs unless otherwise ordered
No class actions are permitted. Arbitration will be on an individual basis.
12. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and VoR concerning the Services.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in full effect.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
